It’s the repetition. Throwing the same combos until you can’t make a mistake. Until your hands feel like bricks. Until your lungs burn. 

It’s the days you don’t feel like going but do anyway. It’s days you feel like going but get your ass kicked to stay humble. It’s the laughter and struggle with your teammates around you. 

It’s the moment you step in the ring all by yourself. You and your opponent are all that matters. The sounds of the crowd drowned by the roar of your heartbeat as that adrenaline builds. Then the bell rings, and you lock in.
