Trip to Bellagio in Lake Como was stunning… getting there was a nightmare 🥲

If you plan to visit any of the Lake Como islands …..
please do yourself a favor— be prepared ahead of time & PLAN your commute!!!!

After taking the train from Milano to Lake Como, we walked all the way to the pier only to find out there were no more ferries or speed boats available to most of the islands/towns.

So instead, we were told to catch the next shuttle bus…

which turned into an hour of standing in a cramped, packed bus all the way to Bellagio while I was fighting motion sickness for my life the entire ride 😭

Needless to say, I was questioning everything at that point lol.

But once we reached Bellagio… it was all well worth it.

The views, the scenery, the food, and just the overall vibes were unreal.
We immediately booked our ferry ride back as soon as we arrived (learned our lesson 😂).

Was it worth it? Absolutely yes.
Even during fall season, everything was still so vibrant and beautiful.

Lake Como is definitely on my must revisit list — but spring/summer next time for sure 🤍
