I’ve been challenged a lot in this past year, a lot more than I would have originally wanted. Tearing my ACL and meniscus last season challenged me mentally and physically more than anything I’ve ever dealt with and it has been such a long and difficult journey to work myself back. Despite this, I’m so blessed and couldn’t be more thankful for the Lord giving me the ability to work through adversity. Instead of giving up and accepting defeat, I decided to try and make the most of this past year. While rehabbing my knee I decided to work towards earning my Texas Real Estate License and my Masters in marketing. About 10 months after surgery on my knee, I’m proud to say that I was cleared to return to football, completed my first masters degree, will be starting my second, earned my real estate license, and picked up on drone videography and photography. I’ve also been blessed to be able to spend so much quality time with family and friends throughout this year and I am so thankful for everyone’s support. I hope anyone who is struggling mentally or physically knows that you can do anything you put your mind to, and Jesus is always there for you. I am extremely blessed and can’t wait for what’s in store. #nevergiveup #LLG #runyourrace #XI
