For more than six decades, Patti has gifted the world a voice that is unmistakable, a spirit that is undeniable, and a legacy forever woven into the story of Black music. From the stage to the culture, she has shown generations what excellence, longevity, grace, and ownership truly look like.

Now, at the 6th Annual BMAC Gala, we proudly honor the incomparable Patti LaBelle with the BMAC ICON Award.

This is more than a celebration of an extraordinary career. It is a tribute to a woman whose artistry helped define the sound, style, and soul of generations and whose influence continues to inspire the world.

We believe in giving people their flowers while they can still smell them.
