Minutes before Sunday’s game started, the Moda Center erupted into “S-A-B” chants which hadn’t been heard in some time.

Guard Sarah Ashlee Barker walked to the team’s bench after the Fire hit the court for warmups sporting a hot pink blazer and a knee brace. She looked around the arena and took a second to show appreciation to the crowd.

It’s been nearly a month since she got surgery to repair her torn ACL, and Barker said it was time to come back to be with her team.
