POP TIMES FOR CATCHERS AREN’T THE END ALL BE ALL AS FAR AS “HOW GOOD” A CATCHER IS☝🏽 Its simply a measurement that qualifies a catcher, based on the speed of whatever level he’s playing at, whether he’ll be able to be competitive or not😎 You can also have a sub 2.0 second pop time in a practice or a showcase setting and still not throw out most runners in a game setting.
