Eva Victor EvaVictor | #EvaVictor’s stupidly relatable, slice-of-life comedic sketches kept thousands of bored quarantiners and dry-humored netizens entertained during the pandemic. With 2025’s ‘Sorry, Baby,’ the dark-comedy about sexual assault written, directed, and starring Victor themself, the Paris-born multi-hyphenate established themself as a prestige storyteller to watch. The film, which also stars Naomi Ackie and Lucas Hedges, earned the Waldo Salt Screening Award at last year’s Sundance Film Festival, and thrust Victor into A-list territory as a Golden Globe and Critics Choice nominee. This December, Victor will star alongside Pedro Pascal, Olivia Wilde, and Will Arnett in Behemoth!, already on 2027 awards season short lists.

Cher, and she would pass. That would be a hard day when Cher passes, but I could handle it with all that’s going on. Wouldn’t that be crazy? It doesn’t make a lick of sense, but it would be my first choice.

If you could only watch one movie or listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
The Incredibles. That’s a good f*cking movie. Nothing wrong with that movie. I see something new in it every time.

What pop culture moment lives rent-free in your head?
When Fergie did all the flips. To me, what Fergie puts into this world—we cannot understand what we have on our hands. From “Shutup” all the way to “Milk Money,” we are so lucky. If you are feeling upset, rewatch Fergie singing the national anthem, because the video will change your mood. It’s like Wellbutrin in a video.
