One Arizona woman says every rainstorm turns her six-figure luxury SUV into a water leak nightmare.

The woman says her 2023 Cadillac Escalade leaks whenever it rains, with water visibly pouring through the overhead lights and into the cabin. Video showing the issue has racked up more than 471,000 views.

She claims Cadillac and General Motors have refused to cover the repair, leaving her potentially responsible for thousands of dollars out of pocket with no guarantee the fix would permanently stop the leaking.

The issue may extend beyond her vehicle. GM issued a technical service bulletin in May 2023 acknowledging that certain Escalades may experience water entering through the headliner. One possible cause listed in the bulletin is a kinked sunroof drain hose near the wheel well.

The bulletin gives dealerships repair instructions, but GM has not issued a recall. Several people responding to the woman’s video also said they experienced similar leaks in Cadillac or other GM vehicles.

Motor1 reported that it reached out to Cadillac, the Tucson dealership and the owner but had not received a response when its story was published.

If you spent six figures on an SUV, are you accepting another repair attempt or asking for your money back? 👀
