At the @specialolympicsusagames, the Adult Athlete Leadership Experience (AALE) paired athlete leaders with Local Organizing Committee (LOC) teams, bringing grassroots experience and athlete perspectives directly into Games planning and delivery. 

Teams left with new ideas, and athlete leaders are now helping shape a more athlete-led movement at Games and within their home Programs.
