Battle Creek,

When I became owner of the Battle Jacks, I made one promise: we would build more than a baseball team. We would build a community institution Battle Creek could be proud to call its own.

This first full season under new management, we took a big step toward that vision.

We welcomed record crowds to MCCU Field, grew attendance by 17%, welcomed thousands of first-time fans (+210% vs. 2025), and increased our community giving and fundraising by more than 150% as we expanded our impact across Battle Creek and Southwest Michigan.

Those numbers are worth celebrating. But they only tell part of the story.

The real measure of this season is in the families who made MCCU Field part of their summer. The kids who fell in love with baseball. The fans who gave us another chance. The neighbors who became friends. And the thousands of people who came together all summer long around something that is uniquely Battle Creek.

We didn't get everything right. But we showed up, listened, learned, improved and kept moving forward. That is the standard we've set for ourselves and the culture we're building throughout this organization.

To every fan, sponsor, host family, volunteer, employee, coach, player, intern, and community partner who believed in what we're building: thank you.

You didn't just support a baseball team.

You helped us build something that belongs to Battle Creek, serves Southwest Michigan, and continues to establish MCCU Field as the Home of Southwest Michigan Baseball.

The scoreboard resets every spring. Our commitment to this community never does.

The work on 2027 has already begun. We'll keep investing, keep improving, keep dreaming bigger, and keep showing up for Battle Creek and Southwest Michigan.
