Happy 72nd birthday, cbssacramento! On September 6, 1954, KOVR 13 went on the air for the first time and continues to broadcast to this day. The news studio was originally in Stockton with a transmitter atop Mount Diablo. KOVR 13, also known as CBS 13, is the oldest continuously operating television station in Sacramento, California.
