who are you when there’s nothing to distract you from yourself? 

recently, i’ve been feeling the weight of loving people so deeply and wondering if I will ever get to experience it return to me. Instead of internalizing it, I’m choosing to double down. To not let it be a reason I retreat into a hard shell of the person I used to be. 

I’d rather remain a voice that wants the best for the people I love than to let ones who cannot recognize it be the reason I stop pouring. If tough love makes me someone’s biggest opp, i’ll take the title.
