KONNOR GRIFFIN IS BACK ⚡️ Konnor Griffin is officially back with the Pittsburgh Pirates, returning to the lineup tonight after missing nearly two months with a left ring-finger injury. The former No. 9 overall pick and MLB Pipeline’s top prospect wasted no time making an impact, bringing his athleticism and energy back to the Pirates as they push toward the final stretch of the season.  Griffin also showed off his speed in the second inning, scoring all the way from first base to give Pittsburgh an early boost. After already making an impact on the bases throughout his rookie season, his ability to turn singles into scoring opportunities is a huge part of what makes him such an exciting young player.
