WIN🎉: Today a federal panel halted construction on a massive data center near Boulder City, Nevada — which would have been the first data center in the country on federal public land.

As soon as we heard about the Townsite data center, we joined forces with the Sierra Club Toiyabe Chapter and local Boulder City residents to file an appeal to fight back. 

Though the fight isn't over, we just won this round. 

Today’s order prevents the project from moving forward while the panel considers legal challenges against the proposal.

Behind closed doors, the Trump administration is pulling out all the stops to let tech companies build massive data centers on our public lands. 

Not on our watch. Our public lands are irreplaceable and too precious to become the next frontier for Big Tech's expansion.

We need to keep data centers off of all public lands for good — and a recently proposed bill aims to do just that.
