 On episode #440 of Dave Tate’s Table Talk Podcast, Dave sits down with Dr. Christopher Marvin.

Dr. Christopher “Marv” Marvin, DC, is a performance chiropractor and owner of Coastal Performance Chiropractic in Seabrook, Texas (the Houston Bay Area). 

He earned a BS in Exercise Science from Sonoma State University and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College West, graduating as class valedictorian. 

Before medicine, Marv spent years as a personal trainer and gym coach, a background that still drives his education-first approach: hour-long appointments, billing by time instead of by machine, and one message for every patient: you are not broken, and you are not fragile. 

He’s lived it, having come back from nine surgeries, a wrist that took more than thirty doctors to sort out, and a lifetime of being told to quit the things he loved. 

Today, he treats everyone from weekend warriors to elite strength athletes, including work at the Arnold Sports Festival World’s Strongest Firefighter and as one of only four chiropractors selected for the Official Strongman Games World Finals. He’s the founder of The Educated Meathead courses, programs, and consults built around ‘meathead biomechanics’  and co-hosts the advanced training podcast Between Two Dumbbells with Ken “Skip” Hill. 

In this episode, he gets into rehab, injury prevention, training around damage, program design, nutrition that matters, and why so much of traditional chiropractic gets it wrong.
