Jahmyr Gibbs is one of those players where the second he gets the ball, you feel like something crazy could happen

Detroit didn’t draft him that high just to be a traditional running back. Gibbs is basically an offensive weapon who can hurt you from anywhere on the field.

Give him a crease and he can turn five yards into 50. Get him matched up with a linebacker in the passing game and good luck. Once he gets into open space, there might not be a more explosive running back in football.

And what makes Gibbs scary is that he’s not just speed.

The vision, patience, acceleration, receiving ability and ability to change direction without losing momentum make him a nightmare to defend. You can know exactly what Detroit wants to do with him and still be a step late.
