BBC News presenter Maryam Moshiri has shared more detail about her two years living with cancer, and the way the chronic disease will affect the rest of her life.

She was diagnosed in November 2024 with polycythaemia vera (PV) - a rare, treatable blood cancer. 

Although it cannot be cured, it can be managed effectively.
