Austin FC is reportedly finalizing a deal to sign 19-year-old American center back Chris Applewhite from Nashville SC on loan through next summer with a purchase option, per Tom Bogert ✍️ 

Applewhite stands at 6’2” and has made 38 senior/MLS NEXT Pro appearances between Nashville SC and Huntsville City FC, including five MLS appearances. He has also represented the United States at the U-19 and U-20 levels, captaining the U-20s at the Concacaf Championship 🇺🇸
