Charles Barkley is NOT buying the narrative that LeBron James has officially defeated Father Time 👀🔥 Chuck says people are getting too caught up in LeBron continuing to put up impressive numbers at 41 years old and not paying enough attention to whether those numbers are translating into postseason success. “Just because you’re putting up good numbers don’t mean you’re being effective.” Barkley pointed directly at the Lakers’ recent playoff exits and argued that simply filling up the stat sheet should not automatically mean someone is still dominating the game the way they once did.

The crazy part is LeBron still averaged 20.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 7.2 assists last season in YEAR 23, numbers basically no player in NBA history has come close to producing this deep into a career 🤯👑 Chuck’s memory was slightly off because the Lakers were not swept in both of their last two postseason appearances, but his overall argument is that Father Time should be judged by winning and impact, not just individual stats. That is definitely going to have NBA fans arguing because what LeBron is doing at this age is already unprecedented 😭🔥 Is Chuck making a fair point or is averaging 20 plus at 41 literally the definition of beating Father Time?
