Reactivity is NEVER just about the moment your dog starts barking and lunging. ❌

It’s all about the seconds, minutes, and moments way before, when the fuse was lit. It’s also about the state your dog is in when they see the trigger. 

Dogs are constantly giving signals. It’s on you as an owner to spot them. Their ears perking up, their eyes zoning in on another dog, their tail stiffening. They’re all there…if you’re not looking closely, it’s easy to  miss them.

A great handler learns to read their dog and redirect before the bad behavior gets another rep.
