An exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum dedicated to Dolly Parton is set to close in September after the temporary installation debuted last year.

On Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2026, Parton passed away peacefully in Nashville, Tennessee, her nephew announced through a video announcement.

"Dolly Parton: Journey of a Seeker" opened in May 2025 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and runs through Oct, 4, 2026.

See more photos of the exhibit and ways to honor Parton at the link in our bio.
