Throwback to Lil Baby and Quavo in 2013 👀💯

Quavo and Lil Baby’s connection traces back to Atlanta’s Quality Control Music family before Baby ever picked up a mic. Before rapping, Baby, born Dominique Jones, was a known figure in the streets around QC founders Pierre “Pee” Thomas and Kevin “Coach K” Lee, who already managed Quavo and Migos. Baby wasn’t chasing music himself. He was doing time on a drug charge, and it was Pee and Coach K, along with Young Thug, who pushed him toward rap once he got out. So Quavo and Baby crossed paths through that same Atlanta circle and shared label before Baby’s career began, more label family and street ties than a personal friendship. Once Baby signed with QC in 2017, that connection turned into actual labelmates, collaborators, and eventually chart hits together like “My Dawg” and “Legends.”
