Nobody tells you that the hardest part of running your own thing is that effort doesn’t decide the outcome.

Sometimes, hard work just guarantees that you did hard work.

I thought one more reel, one more project, one more client would’ve changed my business until it absolutely destroyed me. 

I’ve spent nights dissecting and looping scenarios over and over, wondering what I could’ve done better, what other decisions could’ve been made. Was it all my fault?

But the truth is, if it was going to work, it would’ve worked anyway. You can’t fill a glass that’s turned upside down, no matter how much water you pour.

Find a a different cup to pour into.
