He started out as an Analyst/Manager in Finance back in 2004, working his way up through roles in strategic pricing, business intelligence and merchandising over the following two decades.

He has also held onto the loyalty crown, spending 22 years and 9 months at Target in total, while officially becoming CEO in February 2026 after serving as EVP and COO.
