Peter Cullen, the legendary voice of Optimus Prime for more than four decades, has died aged 85, leaving behind one of the most recognizable voices in animation.

Following his death, fans revisiting the 1986 Transformers movie noticed that the timestamp 26:08.26 falls during Optimus Prime's final moments - a striking match for Cullen's August 26 death date.

Cullen first voiced Optimus Prime in the original 1984 animated series and continued in the role across films, TV shows and video games for more than 40 years.
