A woman was found alive in the debris of her home after a wall of ice, rock and mud tore through a Himalayan valley in Nepal on August 26.⁣

 The landslide has killed more than 1,300 people and left over 5,600 missing.⁣
Chandika Shrestha was discovered on the fourth floor of her partially buried house in Nuwakot district by a team from Nepal's Armed Police Force on Saturday. She was airlifted to a hospital in Kathmandu for treatment.⁣
