I pulled mine. My Jupiter line runs through Calgary, where the right people find you. My Venus line lands in Denver, where the work finally gets seen. My Mercury line runs straight through Vietnam, where my mind goes quiet and the ideas that never survive a busy life finally get room to breathe.

And the heavier ones. Kathmandu, Baku, Manama. The places that ask something of you before they give anything back.

The cities that light you up are almost never the ones on the postcard. Not the obvious ones. Not the ones everyone tells you that you’re supposed to want.

So if you’ve been feeling like you’re behind, like everyone else found their place and you’re still searching, hear this:
