Starting 19th on the grid, Kimi Antonelli battled back to win the Italian Grand Prix, becoming the first Italian to win his home race since 1966. 🏎️ His seventh career win saw Antonelli battle it out with teammate George Russell, with the two going back and forth and exchanging P1 throughout the race. But with a push in the final three laps, Antonelli overtook Russell to snag the win. 🏆 On his home track, Kimi Antonelli became the first Italian to win at Monza since 1966… just the 50th time in F1 history that an Italian has won the Italian GP. 🇮🇹 It was a 1-2 finish for Mercedes, with Russell taking P2 and Max Verstappen rounding out the podium in P3. 🏆 One of the more disheartening moments of the race was when Charles Leclerc spun out of the race on Lap 3. 😬 #menssports #f1 #f1tok #racing
