POV: an intruder crashes your concert 😤

What you’re seeing here is the infamous tenor solo from Carmina Burana, where the singer portrays a swan being roasted on a spit for a medieval feast. 

“Once I lived on lakes, once I looked beautiful...now I’m burning fiercely on a spit” is basically what he’s saying. So of course, he’s extremely unhappy about it.

Our incredible guest soloist Martin Renner Wallace brilliantly performed this dramatic moment at our Spring Concert, delivering one of classical music’s most theatrical and technically challenging death scenes. 

Who knew dinner could be so dramatic? 🤣
