Did you know? 🧐 When Beethoven premiered his Choral Fantasy in 1808, it was a legendary disaster—the orchestra lost its place, the performance fell apart, and Beethoven had to stop the music and restart from the beginning!

Yet from this chaotic premiere emerged one of his most fascinating works. The Choral Fantasy uniquely combines the intimacy of a piano concerto with the grandeur of a choral symphony. 

Because of its demanding nature and complex coordination, this piece is rarely performed live. 🎶 Lucky for Vancouver, we're bringing you this masterpiece with acclaimed Canadian pianist Robert Silverman and the Vancouver Bach Choir!
