🎹✨ Meet Ryan Wang, the youngest-ever recipient of the Prix Cortot!

Established to honour exceptional piano talent, this prestigious award from the École Normale de Musique de Paris is a testament to Ryan’s extraordinary abilities and dedication.

Ryan started performing at the age of 5, travelling from his hometown Vancouver to major global stages such as Carnegie Hall, the Ellen DeGeneres Show, Fondation Louis Vuitton, and Salle Cortot. 🌎🎶

Recently featured in CBC’s Classical 30 under 30 for 2024, Ryan has won numerous international competitions, including the Samson Francois International Piano Competition and the Jeune Chopin International Piano Competition.

Now, at 17, he returns to Vancouver to perform at the VMO’s Pops and Classics concert on November 15th. 🥹 This season, he will present his rendition of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E minor as he gears up to represent Canada at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland next year.
