Should schools actually ban generative AI, or should they be teaching students how to use it properly?

There’s a big difference between using AI to understand something and using it to avoid thinking altogether.

Maybe the answer isn’t keeping AI away from students. Maybe it’s teaching them when to think for themselves and when AI can actually help.
