No time for a 30-minute walk after eating? Hop! 😂

It sounds almost too simple, but there’s actually some really interesting science behind it.

When you get those big leg muscles working, they start pulling glucose out of your bloodstream to use for energy and they can do this without relying entirely on insulin.

That’s why even short bursts of movement around meals can make a difference. Research has shown they can help reduce the blood sugar spike after eating, including in people with insulin resistance.

This is exactly why I’m not interested in giving already-busy women another 10 things to squeeze into their day.
I look for the small shifts that fit into the life you already have:
* 10-15 hops after lunch
* A quick walk after dinner
* A few squats between meetings.
