27 years ago today, Dragon Tales premiered on PBS Kids! 🐉

Debuting in 1999, the animated children’s series Dragon Tales follows siblings Emmy and Max—joined in later seasons by their neighbor Enrique—as they use a magical dragon scale to travel to Dragon Land. There, alongside their wise teacher Quetzal, the children learn valuable life lessons while embarking on adventures with their colorful dragon friends: gentle giant Ord, shy Cassie, and the polar-opposite, two-headed duo Zak and Wheezie.
