Vietnamese-American actress Thuy Trang made history as Trini Kwan, the original Yellow Ranger in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993–1994), serving as a groundbreaking trailblazer and one of the first prominent Asian superheroes on mainstream American television. Following her defining franchise role, she transitioned to the big screen with appearances in the action-comedy Spy Hard (1996) and as the formidable martial artist Kali in The Crow: City of Angels (1996).
