## Caption

The Athletic’s internal investigation into former reporter Dianna Russini found that her relationship with Patriots coach Mike Vrabel violated newsroom standards and should have been disclosed, according to ESPN.

However, after reviewing hundreds of stories, videos, podcast episodes and media appearances over a nearly five-month investigation, The Athletic said it found no clear evidence that Russini used her reporting platform to benefit or promote Vrabel. 

The review was launched following the publication of photos showing Russini and Vrabel together at an adults-only resort, after which Russini resigned from The Athletic.
