**For most of the Sinestro Corps War, the Green Lanterns were not allowed to kill—even while the Sinestro Corps was executing them.**

That was not hesitation. It was hard-coded into the rings. Kilowog, Boodikka, and Soranik all hit the same wall: their rings could hurt their enemies, but would shut down before lethal force.

Then the Guardians opened the Book of Oa and changed the rule. The moment **lethal force was authorized**, the entire war shifted.

It is one of the most brutal moral pivots in Green Lantern history: protect the principle, or protect the Corps?
