Step inside the twisted world of Hellraiser with highlights from my opening-night walkthrough of the Hellraiser haunted house at Halloween Horror Nights 2026 at Universal Studios Hollywood.

For the first time at Halloween Horror Nights, Pinhead and the Cenobites have been unleashed in a terrifying experience inspired by the original Hellraiser trilogy:

• Hellraiser
• Hellbound: Hellraiser II
• Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth

The nightmare begins when guests enter the iconic Lament Configuration puzzle box, unwittingly opening a gateway to a diabolical dimension where pleasure and pain become indistinguishable.

The journey features horrifying environments inspired by the films, including the shadowy attic inside Frank Cotton’s family home, the disturbing Channard Institute, and the otherworldly Labyrinth. Waiting within are Pinhead and the Cenobites, searching for new souls to torment for eternity.

Doug Bradley, who portrayed Pinhead in the original Hellraiser films, reprises the character by lending his unmistakable voice to the Halloween Horror Nights haunted house.
