I am a hardcore introvert. The version of me from twelve years ago would not have entered this room, let alone stood in front of it.

Yesterday I spent the whole day with leaders across our region. Morning with 80+ leaders from Tirunelveli and Tenkasi. Evening with the leadership teams of Nagercoil and Marthandam. Rooms full of business owners reviewing numbers, asking hard questions, making commitments.

And somewhere between those two rooms it hit me: my biggest transformation is not the title or the region. It is that a person who feared small talk now spends his days creating leaders.

Here is what I learned about introversion and leadership:

I did not become an extrovert. I became an ambivert with a purpose. The stage still costs me energy. But a clear reason to speak beats the fear of speaking, every single time.

Leadership did that. Not motivation videos. Responsibility. When people depend on you, you find a voice you did not know you had.

So this post is not about me being special. It is the opposite.

If a hardcore introvert can end up building leaders who impact an entire business community, the thing holding you back is probably not your personality. It is the absence of a room that demands more from you.
