The Los Angeles Sparks announced that they have waived Kate Martin and Alissa Pili from their roster. 😱⁣

This marks the second time this season Martin has been waived after being cut by the Golden State Valkyries. She signed a player development contract with the Sparks before signing a standard contract with the team on June 6. 👀⁣
⁣
However, she played limited minutes throughout the season. In total, Martin averaged 2.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game on 37.1% shooting and 30.8% from three-point range across 17 games with the Sparks.⛹️⁣

Although her future in the WNBA is uncertain, this won’t be the last we see of Martin. Unrivaled, the 3x3 league, recently announced that the 26-year-old would be returning for her third season on a multi-year deal. 👏⁣
