## Caption

One of the best decisions we made when our kids were born was to fully commit to raising them trilingual. I speak to them only in French, my husband speaks to them only in Dutch, and they’ve picked up English from the world around them. Trips like this make all that effort feel so worth it. Watching them jump right in and connect with their Belgian family and friends, in their language, is incredibly special. Funny enough, everyone kept speaking to our daughter in English, and I had to remind them that she’s actually more comfortable in Dutch.  #multilingualfamily #languagedevelopment #trilingual #belgium #dutch
