When Canadian parents Edith Lemay and Sébastien Pelletier learned that three of their four children had retinitis pigmentosa, they made a powerful decision — to show their children as much of the world as possible while they could still see it.

In 2022, the family left Quebec and spent nearly a year traveling across the globe, discovering breathtaking landscapes, wildlife, new cultures and unforgettable moments together. ✈️🦁🏔️

Their extraordinary journey was later captured in National Geographic’s documentary Blink — a beautiful reminder that life isn’t measured by how long we have, but by the memories we create along the way. ❤️
