The Artemis II astronauts flew around the moon and have returned to thank the Rocket City scientists who helped them get there.

The Artemis II crew, NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen spoke to employees of Marshall Space Flight Center on Sept 1 to thank them for their role in the Artemis II mission.

The mission, the first crewed lunar flyby since Apollo 17 in 1972, lasted 10 days in April.
The group said they were excited to bring all of this new knowledge back to the Rocket City scientists and engineers. Koch had a special connection to the area. She attended Space Camp when she was younger.
