## Caption

The Husky Marching Band expresses our deepest condolences to the friends and family of Derek Philips, the University of Iowa Hawkeye Marching Band, and the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps. Our hearts are with you all in this unimaginably difficult time.

Every college band shares a deep connection through music and what we do. While we did not know Derek personally, we feel his passion, his spirit, and the love that he and his fellow musicians shared. We stand with you in support and share your grief, honoring every life Derek touched and every moment that he made brighter.

Sending our love and sympathies,
The Husky Marching Band
