At 29, trainer Kinnon LaRose is one day away from the biggest race of his career. Seven years ago, he sent trainer Tom Amoss a cold email looking for a way into horse racing. He started as a hot walker, learned the business from the ground up, and now he’s about to saddle his own horse in a Grade 1 race — the highest level of Thoroughbred racing. His undefeated 2-year-old filly, Stress Relief, is set to run in Saturday’s Spinaway Stakes at Saratoga. An incredible reminder that you don’t have to grow up in the horse world to find your place in it. Who else will be rooting for this team tomorrow?! 👀🏆 #horsetok #didyouknow #careeradvice #ottb #trainer
