SWIPE! ⬅️ Arizona is home to the longest remaining stretch of Historic Route 66, and there’s a reason road trippers keep coming back. As the Mother Road celebrates its 100th anniversary, here’s why this journey belongs on your bucket list. 🚗🛣️ #visitarizona

Our first stop is Oatman, where we tour the haunted mine, browse the local shops, and get acquainted with the famous wild burros (they’re very friendly). They’re actually descendants of the burros miners used over a century ago, and now they pretty much run the town. 🫏👻

Next up, Cool Springs Station⛽️This little gas station has been around since the 1920s. It burned down in 1966, but locals brought it back to life, and today it’s one of the most iconic stops on Arizona’s Route 66.

Then it’s on to Kingman, where Route 66 history is everywhere you look. We grab lunch at the retro Mr. D’z Route 66 Diner (don’t leave without trying one of their famous root beer floats), snap a photo at the Heart of Kingman sign, and explore the Arizona Route 66 Museum to see how the Mother Road shaped this town. 📸🚘

We couldn’t drive past Hackberry General Store without stopping. Every inch is covered in vintage signs, classic cars, old gas pumps, and Route 66 treasures. It’s the kind of place where you walk in for five minutes and somehow leave an hour later. ⛽️

Ever wanted to step into the world of Cars? Seligman is about as close as it gets. Grab a burger at the legendary Delgadillo’s Snow Cap, browse the colorful gift shops, and stroll a downtown that helped save Historic Route 66. ⛽️🚘

We can’t miss a stop at the Grand Canyon Caverns in Peach Springs. Explore one of the largest dry cavern systems in the U.S., enjoy a meal at the underground restaurant, and even spend the night at the Grand Canyon Caverns Inn. 🌄

One of the best detours off Route 66 is the Grand Canyon Railway. Hop aboard in Williams and ride to the South Rim, just as travelers have done for more than a century. 🚂🏜️

We end the day in Williams, where the neon signs start glowing, the diners fill up, and Route 66 feels like it never left. It was also the last town on Route 66 to be bypassed by Interstate 40, which is probably why it still feels
