## Caption

July 18, 1998 saw the Mariners and Royals take a big swing at envisioning what baseball would look like in the year 2027. That night saw the two teams debut 'Turn Ahead The Clock' uniforms, replete with oversized logos, cut-off sleeves backwards hats and silver spray-painted cleats! The Mariners went all-out by dressing up the Kingdome for its night in the future, and the TV broadcast leaned in bigtime, too! 

While Turn Ahead The Clock Night was originally staged as a one-off event, its notoriety spawned a wave of TATC uniforms across MLB the following season!
