Each year on September 11, sunlight passes through the skylight of the Oculus, creating a striking beam of light across the floor of the WTC Transportation Hub.

On this particular day, the sun's solar rays are aligned with the orientation of the skylight creating a wash of light on the floor at 10:28AM.
