#MeganTheeStallion is opening up about finding herself again following the end of her relationship with NBA star #KlayThompson.

Megan announced their split in April after roughly a year together, saying at the time that “trust, fidelity, and respect” are non-negotiable for her and that there was no path forward once those values were compromised. When recently asked how she’s doing now, Megan told InStyleMagazine that the experience was difficult, joking that she feels like she’s been “put through the washing machine and the dryer with tins, shovels, and a cactus.”

The rapper then reflected on what the relationship taught her, saying she realized she was trying to force something that didn’t fit. “What’s meant for you is always going to work out,” Megan said. She added that constantly feeling uncomfortable or on edge can be a sign that something isn’t meant for you.
