#TSRPrayersUp: #TSRLocalLens—At least five people have been announced deceased after an #Amazon cargo plane barreled off a runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday.

According to apnews, the aircraft struck multiple vehicles and then burst into flames. The aircraft came to a rest near a roadway and could be seen resting on its belly.

Miami-Dade County officials said that five people were killed, three were critically injured, and two others were hospitalized with less severe injuries. The incident took place around 2 pm after the plane arrived from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel said, “We’re working closely with local authorities and officials to understand exactly what happened. Right now, our absolute priority is the safety, well-being, and care of everyone involved.”
